Rally to celebrate Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13)

(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon (October 13), at Nghi Phu Industrial Park, the Nghi Phu Industrial Park Business Association (Vinh City) held a meeting to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day. Comrade Nguyen Van Chinh - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee attended.

Currently, Nghi Phu Industrial Park has 18 enterprises operating in the fields of carpentry, household appliances, mechanics, production of doors of all kinds, production of fertilizers and many other products serving consumer needs. On average, each enterprise creates jobs for 80 workers, mainly children of Nghi Phu and neighboring areas. The average revenue of each enterprise is from 15-20 billion VND/year, contributing 70-80 million VND/year to the state budget.

2012 continued to be a year of economic difficulties, greatly affecting the production and business situation of enterprises. However, overcoming difficulties, many entrepreneurs have continuously strived to find opportunities to contribute to enterprises and society. Typically, Hung Phat Production and Trading Joint Stock Company had a revenue of 55 billion VND in the first 9 months of 2012 (an increase of more than 4 billion compared to the same period in 2011), paid 200 million VND to the budget, and created jobs for nearly 100 workers. Thai Dai Phong Company Limited had a revenue of 19 billion VND in the first 9 months, 76 workers had an average income of 3 million VND/month... In parallel with production and business, many enterprises of Nghi Phu Industrial Park actively participated in humanitarian charity work such as supporting families with preferential policies, helping poor students overcome difficulties to study well...

Speaking at the rally, Comrade Nguyen Van Chinh - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee congratulated the entrepreneurs on the traditional day of October 13; and affirmed that in recent years, the business community and entrepreneurs of the city in general, Nghi Phu Industrial Park in particular, have continuously grown, becoming a vanguard force on the front of local socio-economic development. He hoped that in the coming time, entrepreneurs would continue to unite, promote internal strength, improve their business management skills, boldly invest in technology, science and technology, improve management and operation capacity, implement new production and business projects, and continue to affirm the role of the business community in the cause of innovation and construction of the homeland.
