Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2016 officially launched
The new version of the popular SUV Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has just been officially launched in Thailand with prices starting at 35,540 USD.
Competing with Chevrolet Trailblazer, Ford Everet, Isuzu MU-X and Toyota Fortuner, Pajero Sport 2016 operates on the same platform as its "brother" Triton.
The car measures 4,785mm long, 1,815mm wide and 1,805mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,800mm. Mitsubishi says ground clearance has been increased by 13mm, to 218mm.

In terms of exterior, Pajero Sport 2016 has a more modern design with a style inspired by Mitsubishi's Dynamic Shield design with L-shaped LED daytime running lights and an X-shaped chrome grille.
Meanwhile, the highlight of the interior space is the T-shaped center console, electronic parking brake, multi-function steering wheel, automatic 2-zone air conditioning control and ceiling control.

Under the hood, the 2016 Pajero Sport will be equipped with a 2.4L MIVEC engine with a capacity of 181 horsepower, 430 Nm of torque, accompanied by an 8-speed automatic transmission with sport mode and Super Select AWD four-wheel drive system on the highest version. The Japanese car company confirmed that the new engine will be 17% more fuel efficient than the previous generation, with emissions of 200g/km.
