The special value of the woodblocks of Vinh Nghiem Pagoda lies in the fact that the ideology and teachings of Truc Lam Zen Monastery are engraved very clearly and carry strong national identity, along with profound humanistic values that are elaborately expressed on each woodblock.

Vinh Nghiem Pagoda still preserves more than 3,000 Buddhist scripture woodblocks, carved from the 16th to 19th centuries to serve the training of Buddhist monks and nuns of the Truc Lam Zen sect and the whole country. Each block has two sides, engraved with negative Han Nom characters (reverse engraved) including many contents: medicine, literature, spells, Buddhist precepts... The largest block is more than 1m long, 40-50cm wide with unique carved patterns.

In the series of activities to celebrate this meaningful event, Bac Giang province also organized to receive the National Historical Relic Certificate for the cluster of historical and cultural relics associated with the Yen The uprising. The system of relics of the Yen The uprising are the places marking a particularly important turning point in the history of the nation associated with the cloth-clothed hero Hoang Hoa Tham.

Bac Giang also received the Decision to recognize 16 communes of Hiep Hoa district as ATK II and organized the 5th Bac Giang Province Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival. This year's Bac Giang Province Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival is quite vibrant and rich, such as: Folk music and dance festival; Cultural camp introducing folk cuisine; "Beauty of the Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival" contest; Ethnic sports competition, traditional handicraft demonstration... These major activities will be organized by Bac Giang province from September 9 to October 8.
