Currently, Vietnam still preserves 34,555 plates, which if printed would make 152 books. These are original, unique documents, not only valuable in terms of history but also in terms of art and production techniques. Therefore, since 2005, the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO and the National Archives have collected documents, and by January 2008, the dossier was completed and submitted to UNESCO.
After the Nguyen Dynasty Woodblocks, Vietnam will prepare nomination dossiers for two valuable documentary heritages - the Doctorate Steles at the Temple of Literature and the manuscript "Traveling and Telling Stories" by President Ho Chi Minh - to the "Memory of the World" Program in the Asia-Pacific region.
