Man United danger: David Moyes watch out for Kiessling
Man United will have to overcome a difficult challenge against Bayer Leverkusen in this week's Champions League series when the German team brings a killer like Stefan Kiessling.
The British press described Kiessling as "the goal-scoring machine rejected by Joachim Loew". The Guardian even exaggerated a bit when comparing Kiessling to Andy Cole or Chris Sutton of German football, people "born to score goals".
Want to be wholeheartedly with Leverkusen

Kiessling scored 25 goals for Leverkusen and became the top scorer last season. This season, although still ignored by Mr. Loew and not called up to the national team due to previous personal conflicts, Kiessling continued to demonstrate his fearsome scoring ability at club level. After 12 rounds, he scored a total of 7 goals. In the Champions League, Kiessling contributed 2 goals in 4 matches. In August, he officially joined the Bundesliga's 100 Club with his 100th goal. Not to mention that Kiessling lost his very good teammate Andrea Schuerrle when he joined Chelsea. Many people were worried that Schuerrle's departure would significantly reduce Kiessling's scoring efficiency. But what is happening shows that everything is back to normal. Without Schuerrle, Sidney Sam and Son Heung are both Kiessling's effective assistants and maximize Leverkusen's attacking power.
Beware of Kiessling
Tonight, in the Leverkusen shirt, Kiessling will most likely be the biggest danger for coach David Moyes and his team. De Gea will have to be extremely careful against Kiessling's speed, skill and diverse scoring ability. Bayern Munich and Germany's number 1 goalkeeper Manuel Neuer once admitted: "I really feel uneasy every time I see Stefan preparing to shoot the ball."
In fact, despite scoring many goals and contributing greatly to Leverkusen's success, Stefan Kiessling's name has only recently gained special attention from the world after one of the most controversial goals in German football history. That was in a Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim this season. Receiving a cross from Castro, Kiessling jumped up to head the ball fiercely but the ball went into the back of the net. Like many other strikers when missing a good opportunity, Kiessling raised his hands to his head in frustration and regret. But somehow, the ball still found its way into Hoffenheim's net through a large hole. Referee Felix Brych made a shocking decision to allow the goal, indirectly helping Leverkusen win 2-1.
Kiessling has a natural talent for goal and so controlling him should be one of the top priorities for Man United, who have not been at their best since Sir Alex Ferguson's departure. Hopefully Moyes will soon find the key to victory.
