English subject in Nghe An has made remarkable progress.

According to the synthesis of the Department of Education and Training, there are many subjects with average scores and 10 points increasing.

Accordingly, the number of students scoring 10 this year increased from 239 (in 2022) to 591 and was concentrated in 7/9 subjects. Of which, the subject with the most 10 points was Civic Education, with 500 students. In addition, History had 37 students, Foreign Language 36 students, Chemistry 8 students, Biology 6 students, Physics 3 students and Geography had 1 student scoring 10.

The only female student who got a perfect score in Geography is Phan Dieu Linh - Dien Chau 4 High School.

Foreign language is also a subject with remarkable progress when last year Nghe An's average score was 4.56, this year it increased to 5.003. The increase in score and the number of 10 points increased (from 10 to 36 points 10) because the whole industry has resolutely implemented the foreign language project (issued in 2020) with many solutions to promote quality improvement.

Previously, Nghe An had more than 1,000 students exempted from the Foreign Language exam thanks to the IELTS certificate results. These candidates were given 10 points for the Foreign Language exam.

In Civic Education, the number of students with a score of 10 increased from 79 to 500 in 2023. The number of students with a score of 10 in Civic Education ranked 7th in the country. Innovation in teaching Civic Education has helped students apply the knowledge they have learned and experienced to solve practical problems as the assessment objective of the subject.

The remaining subjects such as Literature, History, and Biology also increased in score compared to previous years. The remaining subjects remained stable. The whole province had 17 candidates with failing scores. Initial statistics showed that Nghe An ranked 22nd out of 63 provinces and cities in terms of high school graduation exam results.

In the initial assessment of the 2023 high school graduation exam results, Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An said: In recent school years, Nghe An has been determined to implement the model of ensuring the quality of education in general schools and assigning responsibility to each school. With the 22nd position, Nghe An still maintains stability in quality and has a number of subjects with clear progress, the quality of education in schools in the delta region continues to be affirmed, many students with high scores, Valedictorians, Salutatorians in the groups and groups come from district schools.

However, with the characteristics of a province with many mountainous districts, especially 5 highland districts, improving overall quality is still difficult and requires more efforts from schools, teachers and students. In the immediate future, from the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam, the Department will continue to compare the average scores of the school years, analyze the entrance scores, quality survey scores...
