(Baonghean) - My village is above the Khe Bo Hydroelectric Plant. The new name the officials gave us is Tan Hop. The villagers used to call it Noong Han village. Two years ago, the river water was blocked to build a hydroelectric plant, so it started to rise, flooding the houses. The government allowed us to abandon our old houses and move to a new, safer place.

Not only the villager's house, but also a section of National Highway 7A through the village was flooded. Knowing that the water would flood, the hydropower officials rebuilt the road to avoid the water. This new road looks sturdy, and is made of concrete. But it goes deep into the village. Before, the old road was straight, but now this section is curved. The road is so sturdy, it doesn't matter if it's curved. The villagers don't question it. They agree with the officials, the people also have to know how to sacrifice for national projects.

However, since the road became curved, many things have happened. It is a national highway, so there are cars running day and night. Small cars, big cars, all. Before, the road was straight. Now that the road is curved, many accidents have happened on this stretch. The curve is too sharp, so some people were careless and didn't have time to turn and crashed into the side of the road, some crashed into electric poles. There were also people who couldn't turn and crashed into each other, causing accidents. Thank God, no one died, but there were easily dozens of people injured!

The Noong Han villagers hope that the traffic officials will pay attention to this stretch of road so that they can benefit. The officials will probably say that it is the people's lack of awareness when driving on the road. The villagers do not argue with this. But the sharp curve is also partly to blame, it reduces the visibility of road users. And not everyone knows the road well enough to proactively avoid it, while the curve has no signposts?

If there were signs at both ends of this curve, road users would pay more attention, reducing accidents on this stretch of road!
