Looking forward to a season of flowers
((Baonghean.vn) - Like any dreamy girl, I once had a dream of getting lost in a flower forest. Every time I pass by a sunflower field, I often smile, remembering my youthful days. I still silently thank those who have created such a beautiful, memorable, and lovely mark on this land..

The field is nearly a hundred hectares, glowing with yellow on the green background and the red soil. What more romantic dream is there? Someone told me: But people plant sunflowers not because they dream, nor to dream? It doesn’t matter, when the dreamy value it brings is real in each of us.
And the flower fields, in reality, have been and are beckoning people from everywhere to Phu Quy. More specifically, when the dream has become so close to life, people have thought of a festival for this land, for these flowers. My friends from the North and the South have been calling me since last year to make an appointment to go to Nghia Dan. Remember to pick me up, to go to the sunflower fields! I heard that this year there is a flower festival, it must be very crowded?

I have stood in the wind and the endless purple of lavender fields in Lao Cai, been amazed by the pure white of mustard flowers in Moc Chau fields, and been stunned by the yellow mustard flower fields in the cold weather in some suburban areas of Hanoi and many other provinces in the North.
I once went to Ha Giang just to see myself small and happy amidst the vast white and pink color of buckwheat flowers. I also often looked back on a street in the city to see the flower vendors, the bicycles carrying chrysanthemums and sunflowers with brilliant colors that lit up the whole street corner.
I looked back, and regretted. A feeling you get when you see something dear from your past, thought to have receded into the distance but suddenly echoing in the air or flashing briefly with haunting colors.

But that fleeting moment in the middle of the city only left a little disturbance and regret. The feeling of being immersed in a field of flowers is different, it lasts forever, it even lives forever. Just like when I stood here, on the land of Nghia Dan. The sunflower field with its tiny, brilliant suns opened up a whole world not only of reality, of the past, but perhaps of wonderful illusions.
For a moment, I imagined myself as a little princess standing in the midst of a beautiful natural world. The yellow color of the flowers, strangely enough, can awaken joy and sparkle, inviting people’s memories, inviting a feeling of emotion. In the midst of those sparkling suns, I felt like a child wandering in search of the morning dew, amazed by the clear lens that reflected the world. And the child I was like a flower in that garden, reaching up to look towards the sun.

It was wonderful that on this sunny and windy land, there was such a beautiful surprise for me. And my friends from far away places naturally considered that flower field to belong to me, as it belonged to many Nghe An people. “Your hometown field”, “your field” – and I was standing there, waiting for them with the joy of reunion, the pride of a person who possesses something that cannot be bought but can only be felt.
These days, the flower fields are blooming in anticipation. I have seen so much excitement in the footsteps of young people who come here. They come to admire, to take pictures, to feel like they are lost in the flower fields, to feel nature is overflowing in every breath.

I saw smiles, they shined on the flower fields with the flowers also smiling. The joy of people, the joy of sunflowers, all seemed to be in harmony so that only the vastness, the exuberance of a bright area of light remained on the fields of Phu Quy.
Unlike when you look at flowers on the street. Sometimes, in sunflower season, you can see a few beautiful and sparkling bouquets of flowers on a familiar street. But a flower field is different. You will feel all the pristine and all-encompassing beauty of nature. The flower always turns towards the sun, it must like light and warmth.

So in the middle of a sunflower field, you will always see faces looking in the same direction. Laughter and voices. And if you close your eyes for a moment and then open them, you will see a field of flowers swaying before your eyes, meaning it is not just a look. It is an immersion. And you will feel like you are truly a part of nature, like a flower, which is ultimately there to decorate life.
