Mr Lukashevich condemned the US government for not providing any evidence to prove their accusation that the arrested man Evgeny Buryakov was a spy.
Earlier on January 26, US officials said agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested a man believed to be a Russian spy in New York City on charges that he tried to collect economic intelligence and recruit people./.
