A program with practical meaning
(Baonghean) -Implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade has just organized for Viet Lao Economic Development Investment Joint Stock Company and Intimex Vietnam Joint Stock Company in Nghe An to bring "High quality Vietnamese goods" to rural areas.
Following the program implementers to the two communes of Do Thanh (Yen Thanh) and Tan Phu (Tan Ky) - the localities that benefited from the program - we saw that "high-quality Vietnamese" products were enthusiastically received by the people. Viet Lao Economic Development Investment Joint Stock Company (located in Do Thanh commune) introduced and sold high-quality Vietnamese products in a field style. 60 diverse products belonging to two groups of agricultural products, food and electrical appliances were displayed right under the doors of 4 light trucks. Above the truck were banners advertising the program, price lists... At only 8 am, the point of sale attracted a lot of people to see and buy. Laughter and bargaining were very lively. People seemed to understand Vietnamese products quite well and had a good grasp of prices. From the price of a box of Hao Hao instant noodles, a bottle of Mavenlla cooking oil, a rice cooker to a mosquito racket, an energy-saving light bulb... Mrs. Khai is over 70 years old this year, her children have left her and only the two of them, she also bought a package of MSG, a bottle of cooking oil, a bottle of fish sauce and a dozen packages of instant noodles. When asked, she happily said: "Buying here is a little cheaper than at the local market, but you can rest assured." Like Mrs. Khai, almost everyone who came to see bought the goods. Some people even took advantage of "speculating" to let their relatives sell them retail.

The authorities and organizations of Do Thanh and Tan Phu communes are very interested in preparing the playground for businesses, and at the same time actively propagandizing to the people of the whole commune. Mr. Nguyen Truong Thi - Chairman of the Fatherland Front of Do Thanh commune said: "After the district informed the Department of Industry and Trade to organize a high-quality Vietnamese stall in Do Thanh, the Fatherland Front of the commune coordinated with departments to continuously announce on the radio so that people would know...". Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan Phu commune said: "When we received the news from the district's Department of Industry and Trade, we organized the youth union to clean up 27,000 square meters of the stadium, prepared lighting and had cultural officers propagate on the radio of all 12 hamlets". Ms. Hue regretted: "If the Department of Industry and Trade called on more businesses to participate, it would be great. People would have the opportunity to access more types of high-quality Vietnamese goods...".
This is the first time the Department of Industry and Trade has organized for businesses to bring high-quality Vietnamese goods to rural areas. The main purpose of the program is for people to access and use, thereby having confidence in Vietnamese-made products. In fact, from Do Thanh and Tan Phu, it has been shown that organizing the delivery of goods to rural and mountainous areas is very effective for the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods". However, there is one point that makes the program organizer and the two businesses concerned: the implementation budget is quite limited. Right at the point of sale, although the sales are very favorable, Ms. Pham Thi Mai - Deputy Director of the General Business Center of Viet Lao Economic Development Investment Joint Stock Company still affirmed: "We are subsidized for transportation costs, printing costs of advertising banners, security... but we will definitely have to suffer losses". She analyzed: “People in the city buy a lot of goods, but because they sell at the listed price (the same as the wholesale price in Vinh city), the profit is not significant. Meanwhile, because we sell on the move, we need 15 people including drivers, sales people, security guards. The cost of food, accommodation, salary... for 3 days for 15 people is not small.” What Ms. Mai confided is also the thinking of people in Intimex Company. Intimex Company's stall has 8 participants, they have to rent a motel for the women to sleep overnight, and for food, they hire people to cook for them...
Through the confidences of Ms. Pham Thi Mai, Ho Kim Chi..., it can be seen that businesses really want to participate because of the practical meaning of the program. However, they cannot forget the benefits of the business, affecting the capital of shareholders. This is a difficult problem for the Department of Industry and Trade - the unit organizing the program to bring "high-quality Vietnamese" goods to the countryside. A responsible officer worried: "Limited implementation budget will make it difficult to motivate businesses to regularly participate in the program, although the reality in Do Thanh and Tan Phu has shown that the organization to bring high-quality Vietnamese goods to the countryside has achieved very good results, very effective for the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
