A teacher drowned tragically

(Baonghean) -While herding buffalo near a dam in the commune, the children were shocked to discover a woman's body floating on the water.

The children herding buffalo said that at about 3:30 p.m., they were shocked to discover the body of a woman floating on the water.

The incident was immediately reported to the local authorities. The victim was later identified as teacher Doan Thi Suong (born in 1970), currently a clerk at Bao Thanh Primary School, Yen Thanh District.

Ms. Suong’s family said that on the morning of November 6, she took advantage of her day off to go to the forest to collect firewood to store for the upcoming winter. By noon that day, she had not returned, and in the afternoon, her family received the bad news.

It is known that Ms. Suong's family situation is extremely difficult, she is currently raising two small children alone and her husband has been sick and bedridden for many months. Her sudden passing has left her two children and husband in deep shock.
