A fifth grade student drowned while herding cows.

(Baonghean.vn) -While herding cows with his younger sister on the Lam River bank, Dang Van Hieu unfortunately slipped and fell into the river. Not knowing how to swim, Hieu drowned.

At around 3:30 p.m. on November 7, in Hamlet 3, Ngoc Son Commune - Thanh Chuong District, Dang Van Hieu (11 years old, 5th grade student, Ngoc Son Primary School) and his younger sister were herding cows near the Lam River, unfortunately they slipped and fell into the river. Because he did not know how to swim, Hieu was drowned in the whirlpool. Seeing his brother struggling and gradually sinking, Hieu's younger sister could only stand on the shore and cry. After that, she ran home to call for help from neighbors. However, when everyone ran to save him and brought him to shore to perform CPR, Hieu died due to the long time he had been drowning.
