A Nghe An worker in Taiwan drowned.
(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Phan Trung Duc - Vice President of Nghe An Association in Taiwan said that a member of the Association had just died from drowning. The victim was Mr. Hoang Van Luc (20 years old), from Block 14, Nghi Huong Ward, Cua Lo Town.

Mr. Luc has been working in Taiwan in the Yongkang area of Tainan for over a year now. On Sunday afternoon, June 12, Mr. Luc and a friend went to the lake to fish. Because the lake was deep, Mr. Luc slipped and drowned. His friend who went with him, swam out to save him and also drowned. Local residents discovered the incident and called the rescue team. The two were rescued and taken to Tainan Hospital for emergency treatment. After a period of treatment in the intensive care unit, Mr. Luc did not survive and passed away at the age of 20 at 0:00 on June 13.
Mr. Luc's body is currently lying at the Tainan funeral home.
