On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the 935th Fighter Regiment, Division 370 (May 21, 1975), let's experience a day of a pilot with the Su-30MK2 fighter.
Overcame thousands of people to be admitted to the Air Force Officer School. Through the screening and training process, only those qualified to fly the Su-30MK2 were selected. |
That is the "journey" that young pilots must overcome, in order to fulfill their dream of mastering the sky of the Fatherland. |
From theory to practical flight training, pilots must go through a long period of active training, from flying simulators to dry flights (ie the training process on the ground with the same procedure as that which will be performed in the air). |
For every pilot, health and ability to handle situations are always top priorities. |
As simple as in a complex aerobatic flight, the pilot sitting in the cockpit is under pressure on his body. During the aerobatic process, blood from the brain will rush to the legs, causing cerebral ischemia, which can lead to loss of consciousness. |
Some people during the training of these flights fell into a state of uncontrollability. That is not qualified to become a Su-30 pilot. |
Therefore, to be able to participate in good flights, each pilot must set himself a steel discipline in physical training to supplement the vestibular system and improve health and endurance, while combining it with self-study to improve his qualifications and perfect himself. The criterion of being good at foreign languages (especially Russian) is also a mandatory factor. |
Before each flight, the technical team must re-check the entire aircraft to ensure safety. |
Meanwhile, in the meeting room area in front of the flight crew, the pilots were drawing their flight plans after being briefed on the mission by the Regiment Commander. |
