(Baonghean.vn) - On October 26, Tri Le Border Post (Nghe An Border Guard) announced that a fatal suicide case involving poison ivy had just occurred in the unit's area.

The victim was Xong Po S (born in 1988, from Huoi Moi 1 village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, Nghe An). Due to unresolved family conflicts, he ate poison leaves to commit suicide.

Poison ivy, which contains deadly toxins, is often found in mountainous areas.

Due to severe poisoning, the victim died. The family and local authorities organized the burial of the victim according to local customs and practices.

* Arrested 2 buffalo thieves

On October 26, Thanh Thuy Border Gate Border Post said: the unit coordinated with relevant forces to arrest 2 buffalo thieves.

In Bai Duom area, in hamlet 3, Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district, Nguyen Van Tam, born in 1975, residing in hamlet 4, Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district and Tran Van Trong, born in 1976, residing in Kim Tien hamlet, Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district were discovered and arrested for stealing 2 buffaloes of Mr. Vo Van Duong, in hamlet 3, Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district.

The value of the two buffaloes is about 100 million VND. According to the subject, they intended to bring the two buffaloes to Ha Tinh province for sale. The case is currently under further investigation.
