A young Vietnamese man and his girlfriend died in an apartment in Japan.

The bodies of a 15-year-old girl and her 21-year-old boyfriend have been discovered in an apartment in Osaka. Police believe it was a murder-suicide.

The Japan Times newspaper quoted police information as saying that the girl and her Vietnamese boyfriend lived with the girl's parents in Nishinari ward.

According to Fuji TV, the girl's mother found two bodies after she returned home at around 6:45 p.m. on March 28. The girl was lying on the bed in the bedroom, with two knives stuck in her chest.

Her boyfriend was found on the floor nearby, with a wound around his neck. It appeared he had hanged himself.

Both were taken to hospital and pronounced dead.

Police said the man moved in with his girlfriend’s family about a year ago. Her mother said the couple had a heated argument two days ago.
