MU must win all remaining matches to win the championship.
Manchester United's in-form player Jesse Lingard admitted that the Old Trafford team need to win all 20 remaining Premier League matches to have a chance of winning the championship.
After 18 rounds of Premier League, Pep Guardiola's Man City are 11 points ahead of Jose Mourinho's second-placed MU. Surprisingly, Man City have created a record winning streak of 16 matches.
The last time Man City dropped points was four months ago after a 1-1 draw at home to Everton in round 2 of the Premier League on August 22.

Lingard is having his best season in a MU shirt |
An unbeaten and unrivaled Man City in the Premier League scared everyone and made them "give up" when the season in England had one more round to end.
Currently, only Man Utd can catch up with Man City, although this is very fragile. Realizing the problem, Lingard believes that only if Man United wins all the remaining matches will they catch up with Man City.
Lingard said: "I think in any season we're aiming to be top of the table and get as many points as possible in games. So we need to keep winning to see where we are. That's the most important thing."
“Do we need to win every game to catch them (Man City)? Maybe, but we have to start by winning every game. As I said before, all we can do is focus on the next game and see where we are at the end of the season” - Lingard said.
“With the squad we have, we always believe in winning every game. Some games we can play badly and win. But sometimes we play well and still lose. That is one of the risks in football. At the moment, MU is playing well and we need to keep this form,” Lingard added.

Lingard's finishing goal in MU's 2-1 win over West Brom. |
Lingard has been in incredible form this season, especially recently. The midfielder, who came through the MU youth academy in the same generation as Pogba, has scored four goals in his last five games.
Up to this point, Lingard has scored a total of seven goals for MU, more than all he did last season. This has helped Lingard become much more confident.
The 25-year-old celebrated his birthday last weekend by scoring the second goal in United's 2-1 win over West Brom in the 18th round of the Premier League. Combined with the 3 points against Bournemouth in the middle of last week, MU has had two complete wins after a 1-2 defeat to Man City.
In the next match, Manchester United will meet Bristol City in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup (League Cup) in the early morning (December 21).
