Regarding determining whether money is real or fake, according to the State Bank, consumers need to check the security features, at least 3 - 4 factors. Note that counterfeit money is printed on nylon so it can easily stretch or tear when pulled or lightly torn at the edge of the bill. The State Bank hopes and recommends that money users understand the security features of real money and always check the money when making transactions.
