During this season, when the rice in the fields has been harvested, the women of Lien Huong village call each other to pick palm trees on Bang mountain, more than 3 hours walk from the village. This hard work is only done by women, many trees are too tall, the poles cannot reach, cannot climb...
Many palm pickers said that this year’s palm fruit season is both delicious and bountiful. One person can pick 40kg of palm fruit in a day. The price of each kilo of palm fruit ranges from 5,000 to 15,000 VND, depending on the quality of the fruit.
