Nam Can pineapple season
(Baonghean) - Pineapple and ginger are the two main crops of the Mong people in Nam Can (Ky Son). These days, going to Nam Can, we can easily see the Mong people carrying baskets full of pineapples to the commune center to sell, or piled high in front of the houses on the mountainside.
For a long time, the pineapples of the Mong people in Nam Can have been famous for their sweet and fragrant taste. During the harvest season, traders from all over the place come to buy in large numbers. In previous years, the price of pineapples ranged from 7,000 to 10,000 VND/fruit. This year, the price of pineapples is only 5,000 to 6,000 VND. Because there is no place to sell them, traders do not come to buy many pineapples.
These images were recorded by our reporters during the pineapple harvest days of the Mong people in the remote village of Nam Can.
