Buying drugs to sober up, two best friends go to jail together
(Baonghean.vn) - After a drinking session, Huy and Tuat went to buy "white goods" to sober up but were caught by the police.
On the morning of June 28, the People's Court of Ky Son district opened the first instance trial of the case of "Illegal possession of narcotics" against two defendants: Vi Van Tuat, born in 1992 and Dau Quang Huy, born in 1992 (both residing in Khe Nan village, Chieu Luu commune).
The indictment of the People's Procuracy of Ky Son district stated: On March 7, 2018, Tuat and Huy bought alcohol to drink at Tuat's house. After drinking, the two discussed pooling money to buy drugs to use to sober up.

At the trial, the defendants confessed and admitted their crimes. Defendant Huy was a repeat offender.
At the end of the trial, the panel sentenced Vi Van Tuat to 13 months in prison and Dau Quang Huy to 14 months in prison.
