Bamboo shoot season in "tam" Huong
(Baonghean) -From the center of Tam Quang border commune to the three farthest villages of the commune, Tan Huong, Tung Huong and Lien Huong, is about 10 km. On that road, we were exhausted from climbing up and down the Bu slope. The inter-village road, connecting the three inner villages with other villages, winds and precariously follows the Tung Huong stream. There are places that have just been cut off by floods, and excavators are still clearing the road.
Coming to the three “tam” Huong villages these days, bamboo shoots can be seen everywhere. Bamboo shoots are dried by the villagers on the concrete roadside, on traffic barriers, on cliffs, on baskets, trays, and trays...
On the roads, people of three villages carry baskets, going into the forest to collect bamboo shoots.
A trader said that the bamboo shoots in this area are large and have beautiful colors. The price of dried bamboo shoots in other communes and villages is only 60 to 70 thousand VND/1kg, but bamboo shoots in this “tam” Huong cost 80 to 90 thousand VND/1kg. Buying bamboo shoots here is very easy to import and also has a high price.
