Heavy rain causes flooding in Hung Nguyen

(Baonghean.vn) -From the evening of September 4 to this afternoon of September 6, Nghe An province has had heavy to very heavy rain, causing widespread flooding in many places. These days, farmers have begun harvesting the summer-autumn rice crop, and students have just started the new school year. Heavy and prolonged rain has seriously affected students' studies as well as people's daily life and production.

The following photo series was taken by us in Hung Trung commune (Hung Nguyen district), one of the most heavily flooded areas.

Many motorbikes and cars were damaged when trying to pass through flooded roads.





Hung Trung Kindergarten had to let students stay home.



On the main road of the commune, many sections people have to use boats to travel.



Nguyen Truong To Secondary School in Hung Trung commune had just started the new school year when it was submerged in water.



The roads into the hamlets in the commune are now impassable by normal vehicles.
