The 10 vulnerable products include 2 Oracle Java products (Multiple, Three), 5 Adobe products (Flash, Reader, Shockware, Player, Acrobat), 2 Apple products (Quicktime, iTunes) and Nullsoft (Winamp).
Kaspersky also noted that the automatic update mechanism included in recent versions of Windows has helped the operating system no longer appear on the list of 10 vulnerable products.
According to the security firm, the most significant incidents in the third quarter were related to the activities of malware such as Madi, Gauss and Flame.
Specifically, the campaign of attacks on Madi's computer systems has been deployed for nearly a year and targets the infrastructure of engineering companies, government organizations, banks and universities in the Middle East.
The Gauss malware is more complex than others and is classified by experts as a cyber weapon. Containing other malware, Gauss will steal a variety of information about the online banking accounts of users of infected computers...
In addition, Kaspersky also said that the number of malware in Russia is 23.2%, the US 20.3%.
