If you want to buy the new McLaren 720S, you have to wait until 2019

According to McLaren's latest report, the British supercar company has sold out all the cars it can produce by the end of 2018 for the 720S model.

Specifically, McLaren has received a total of 1,500 orders for the 720S model. Some customers even ordered 2 cars for themselves with 2 standard and personalized versions made by the MSO (McLaren Special Operations) department. Thus, at present, if customers want to order a McLaren 720S, they will have to wait until 2019 to receive the car.

The all-new McLaren 720S was first introduced at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show last March. The car began production a month later at the Working factory in the UK. The McLaren 720S is considered a breakthrough in design, engineering and interior decoration for the British car company.

The car has a second-generation carbon fiber frame based on the Monocage II structure. The materials around this frame are made of aluminum with high rigidity and especially light weight. The teardrop-shaped cabin frame design creates a thin windshield pillar, providing an airy space and light can easily enter inside. This is considered a huge change in McLaren's design.

The front bumper is made of carbon fiber, the headlights are integrated with LED positioning strips, the hood is made lower than the wheel arches. The doors open up like the 650S, the 5-spoke wheels, the LED taillights are curved like the 570S. The amenities are all focused on the driver's position. The center of the dashboard is an 8-inch touch screen, behind the steering wheel is a high-resolution TFT screen. High-end sound system, sports seats, carbon-wrapped leather steering wheel...

The Mclaren 720S has a 4.0L M480T Twin-Turbo V8 engine that produces a maximum capacity of 709 horsepower and a maximum torque of 770 Nm. The car can accelerate from 0 - 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 0 - 200 km/h in 7.8 seconds and a maximum speed of 341 km/h. The braking system on the 720S can reduce speed from 200 km/h to 0 in just 4.6 seconds over a distance of 117 meters. The fuel consumption of this supercar is 10.7L/100 km.
