US begins moving military equipment to Eastern Europe as part of Operation Atlantic Resolv
The US has begun transferring military equipment from Belgium to Eastern Europe as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, Defence News reported, referring to representatives of the US armed forces in Europe.

This transfer of military equipment is intended to practice moving troops across European territory in the event of a possible military conflict on the continent.
In total, about 3,300 people and 650 pieces of military equipment will be delivered, including 87 Abrams M-1 tanks and 18 MU-109 Paladin self-propelled guns. All equipment will be sent to the Baltic countries, as well as Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary.
Part of the army will be transported by rail and highway and by water transport which was not previously used for this purpose.
