House Republicans are reluctant to fund programs in President Obama's health care law, known as Obamacare, while Senate Democrats have not voted on any spending bill that does not include funding.
House Speaker John Boehner announced that the House will vote on September 20 to allow government agencies to continue operating without Obamacare.
If passed, the bill will move to the Senate, where Democratic Senator Harry Reid has declared: “Any bill that does not fund Obamacare will be meaningless”./.
