US: Gas explosion destroys 7 houses
At least seven homes were destroyed or damaged in a gas explosion at a home in Ohio, USA on March 21.
According to initial information, the explosion occurred on the evening of March 21. Immediately afterwards, a local gas supply company received information about a gas leak in the area where the explosion occurred.
About 50 firefighters were on the scene to put out the fire. Several firefighters were injured in the explosion. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
Also in the US, police found six homemade bombs in a bag belonging to a man named Richard White, 62 years old, who was shot and seriously injured by security forces at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport on the evening of March 20.
The man attacked airport security forces, injuring one security officer. In Richard White's car, US police also found smoke bombs, explosives, and bomb-making equipment.
