US considers allowing Ukraine to use long-range weapons to attack Russia
President Joe Biden will discuss allowing Ukraine to use long-range weapons to attack Russian territory.

According to RIA Novosti on September 11, US President Joe Biden said the US is considering allowing Ukraine to use long-range weapons to strike deep into Russian territory.
“We are working on it right now,” President Joe Biden told reporters in response to a related question.
On September 10, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that President Joe Biden is expected to discuss with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on September 13 about allowing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack Russia with long-range weapons provided by Washington and London.
“We will be watching and listening to Ukrainian representatives and making sure that we have our own best assessment of what is needed, what the goals of our Ukrainian partners are in the weeks and months ahead, and how we can support them in the best way possible,” said Secretary Blinken.
Meanwhile, on the same day, White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby assured that Washington still does not support Ukraine's deep attacks on Russia, including with US weapons, despite the plans of President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Western media have previously mentioned the possibility that the US could allow Kiev to attack deep into Russian territory in the near future. According to the publications, there are people in the US administration who have pursued this view and are now trying to convince Biden.
Axios journalist Juligrais Brufke reported, citing the Chairman of the US House Foreign Affairs Committee, Michael McCaul, that Secretary of State Blinken, during his upcoming visit to Ukraine, will convey Washington's permission to use ATACMS missiles to attack Russia.
