(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 30, in Vinh City, the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education summarized the work of promoting education - deployed tasks in 2015 and launched the 12th "Nghe An Promotion of Education Festival".

In 2014, the Association for Promotion of Education at all levels in Nghe An has achieved many achievements in all aspects of activities: organization and development of the association; social communication and mobilization; emulation movements for promotion of education; fund for promotion of education... actively contributing to the implementation of the tasks assigned by the Party Committee and the government to the Association "promoting education, promoting talents, building a learning society". Up to now, the organization of the Association for Promotion of Education has basically covered all communes, wards, schools, developed down to hamlets, villages in mountainous areas, highlands, agencies, units with a total of 514,000 members. In 2014, the whole province mobilized over 43 billion VND. The Fund awarded scholarships to 31,000 students with an amount of 11.1 billion VND; rewarded 150,000 students with an amount of 17.7 billion VND. The number of families recognized as studious families reached 372 thousand/469 thousand, accounting for 80% of the registered number, an increase of 2 thousand families compared to the previous year. The total number of studious families recognized reached 89%, an increase of 185 families compared to the previous year....

The main directions and tasks in 2015 of the Association for Promoting Education at all levels in Nghe An continue to be implemented comprehensively in all aspects. Therein, focusing on organizing the Congress to consolidate the Association at all levels, implementing Decree No. 45 of the Government; the Charter of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education; Organizing Conferences of advanced models at all levels, towards the Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress for the period 2010 - 2015.
At the closing ceremony, 50 groups and 39 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial Association for Promoting Education for their outstanding achievements in the movement to promote learning and talent to build a learning society.
On this occasion, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education also launched the 12th emulation movement "Tet for Promotion of Education" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Mui 2015.
