Nam A Bank reduces loan interest rates by up to 2% for people in the Central region

(Baonghean.vn) - From now until March 31, 2021, Nam A Bank is implementing the program "Accompanying the people of the Central region" to overcome the consequences of floods, reducing loan interest rates by up to 2%/year, applicable to customers borrowing capital for production, business, consumption and super flexible unsecured loans.

Specifically, for existing loans with collateral for production, business and consumption,Nam A Bankinterest rate reduction up to 0.5%/year for up to 3 months. In addition, customers with super flexible unsecured loan needs will receive a 2%/year discount compared to the schedule.interest ratecurrent loan

The program applies to individual customers living and doing business in provinces/cities affected by floods including: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong.

At the end of October 2020, the unprecedented situation of "storm on storm" and "flood on flood" in many years caused great damage to people and property, severely affecting the lives and production of millions of people in the Central provinces. Therefore, through the implementation of the program "Accompanying the people of the Central region", Nam A Bank wishes to join hands to share difficulties with customers and create conditions and support for people to rebuild their lives and restore business activities after a long period of being affected by floods.

At the same time, Nam A Bank also carries out this activity in accordance with the Government's policy and the State Bank's direction on supporting people to overcome the consequences of floods in the Central and Central Highlands regions.

Previously, as soon as the Central and Central Highlands provinces faced storms and floods, Nam A Bank's staff allocated a portion of their income to promptly support the people. Nearly 500 gifts with a total value of 240 million VND were sent to poor and near-poor households in Quang An commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province.

In the near future, Nam A Bank will continue to spend nearly 1 billion VND to carry out charity programs with activities to visit and encourage families who suffered losses in life and property, especially poor households. Not only houses but also constructions, schools, transportation systems, offices, etc. were devastated after the flood, so Nam A Bank will also focus on implementing activities related to education, awarding scholarships, supporting facilities and learning equipment for students in flood-affected areas so that they can go to school with peace of mind to continue their dreams.
