According to Singaporean media, five opposition parties in the country recently announced a common badge with the phrase "Vote for Change", in a move showing the unity of the opposition.

Speaking at the ceremony, People Power Party (PPP) Chairman Goh Meng Seng affirmed that this was a show of strength and unity, after realizing that voters wanted a united front for all opposition parties.

In addition to the PPP, the launching ceremony was also attended by representatives of the Singapore Democratic Alliance (SDA), Singapore First Party (SingFirst), Reform Party (RP), and Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

The National Solidarity Party (NSP) and the Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) also participated in this project, but were not present due to preparations for the general election on September 11. The Workers' Party (WP), the largest political party in Singapore, was also invited to participate but did not respond.

Also at the meeting, Singapore's opposition parties agreed on five key issues that they believe will be the focus of the general election: immigration, the Central Pension Fund (CPF), housing, education and public transport./.
