Vietnamese male worker stabbed through the heart by fellow countryman in Malaysia

The suspect, a 28-year-old Vietnamese man, used a pocket knife to stab the victim in the left chest in revenge for having been bullied by the victim earlier.

A Vietnamese male worker was stabbed to death by his compatriot at a steel factory located in the Malaysian-Arab Industrial Zone in Nilai, Seremban city, Negeri Sembilan state, Malaysia.

Negri Sembilan State Police Chief Jaafar Mohd Yusof said the incident occurred at noon on May 8. The suspect, a 28-year-old Vietnamese man, stabbed the victim in the left chest with a folding knife in revenge for being bullied by the victim earlier.

The 42-year-old victim, Tran Try Ong Thien Lan, died that afternoon despite being taken to Nilai Medical Center for emergency treatment.

An autopsy revealed that the victim died from a stab wound to the heart. The suspect has been detained for 7 days to assist in the investigation./.
