Nam Dan: Restoration and embellishment of Mai Thanh Mau Temple
(Baonghean.vn) -In recent days, at Chen Mountain in Hamlet 1, Nam Thai Commune (Nam Dan), the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune organized a ceremony to renovate and upgrade the Temple of Mother Mai King (Mai Thanh Mau Temple).

In response to the wishes of the people and descendants of the Mai family across the country to contribute to the renovation and construction of the Temple of Mother Mai, with the consent of the Party Committee, the People's Committee of the commune coordinated with relevant parties to establish the Temple Management Board, and at the same time established the Campaign Board to build the Temple of Mother Mai.

After a period of construction, from July 2012 until now, the temple project has been completed. Currently, with the help and support of working days, means, and materials from the hamlet staff, and departments, up to now, a complex with a design that is both traditional and national is gradually being completed, preparing for the upcoming King Mai's death anniversary (January 13-15 of the lunar calendar). The project is designed with 1/3 of the area being the main hall - King Mai's birthplace, the memorial stele, the kitchen and the place to hold the King's palanquin; the main hall and the system of ornamental plants in front of the lobby.

This year, in addition to the traditional festival held annually from January 13 to 15 of the lunar calendar, descendants, people from all over the world and overseas Vietnamese from all over the world also witnessed the inauguration ceremony of the renovation of Mai Thanh Mau Temple at Chen Mountain, in Hamlet 1, Nam Thai Commune on January 12 of the lunar calendar. The organization of the festival also aims to meet the spiritual needs of all classes of people inside and outside the district, so that tourists can know about the land of "spiritual land and talented people" with the Mai Dynasty and the people of Nam Thai and Nam Dan in general. In particular, this will be a "red address" for the younger generations, students, and pupils when they come to study, learn and research about the family, life and career of King Mai Thuc Loan.
