(Baonghean.vn) -According to statistics from the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, last school year, the whole province had 3,630 high school students drop out of school. The main reasons were poor academic performance, not wanting to study (about 40%) and difficult family economic circumstances (about 35%).

Accordingly, in the summer of 2012, the whole province had 1,692 students drop out of school (not including those who transferred to vocational training). Specifically, 21 primary school students; 1,116 middle school students; 555 high school students. In the 2012-2013 school year (from the opening day until May 31, 2013), 1,938 students dropped out of school (including: 31 primary school students, 964 middle school students; 943 high school students).

Thus, compared to the 2011-2012 school year, there was a decrease of nearly 500 students. This result was achieved because the schools tried to coordinate between the forces within the school and the forces inside and outside the locality where the school is located, creating conditions to effectively help students who have many difficulties in life.
