Accordingly, 10 preschool schools are recognized to meet level 1 standards, 05 schools are recognized to meet level 2 standards; 10 primary schools are recognized to meet level 1 standards, 07 schools are recognized to meet level 2 standards; 12 secondary schools are recognized to meet standards.

Thus, as of July 17, 2014, not counting nearly 500 schools recognized from the 2008-2009 school year or earlier (because the recognition period has expired), Nghe An has 358/1,560 schools in the period of recognition of meeting national standards, reaching a rate of 22.95%; of which 140/518 (27.03%) are preschool schools (128 schools meet level 1 standards, 12 schools meet level 2 standards); 141/541 (26.06%) are primary schools (102 schools meet level 1 standards; 39 schools meet level 2 standards); 69/410 (16.83%) are secondary schools and 08/91 (08.79%) are high schools.
