Phan School Student Won Silver Medal at European Physics Olympiad
This is the second consecutive year that students from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted have won a Silver Medal at the European Physics Olympiad. The medalist was Tran Nguyen Khai.
The European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO) is organized by Leibniz University Hannover and the Leibniz Institute for Mathematics and Science Education once a year, starting in 2017.
In 2025, the competition will be held in Bulgaria from June 13 to 17, attracting about 200 contestants from 29 European countries and 10 guest delegations.

The Vietnamese delegation participating in this competition consists of 5 members selected by the Vietnam Physics Association from students who won prizes in the national excellent student competition for the 2024-2025 school year.
At the end of the competition, 4/5 students of the Vietnamese team won medals.
Among them, the two students who won Gold Medals were Nguyen Tran Hieu (Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, Bac Ninh Province) and Nguyen Le Dang Khoa (Gifted High School, Ho Chi Minh City National University).

The student who won the Silver Medal was Tran Nguyen Khai - class 12A3 - Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. Previously, Tran Nguyen Khai had twice won the national excellent student award in Physics. In grade 11, he won second prize and in grade 12, he won first prize.
The remaining two members of the Vietnamese delegation, Cap Kim Hoang Bao (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang) won the Bronze Medal and Ha Tuan Kiet (Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted) received a Certificate of Merit.
Thus, for two consecutive years, Nghe An students have won Silver Medals at theEuropean Physics OlympiadIn 2024, the person who brought this medal was Phan Quang Triet, a classmate of Khai.
Thus, with the Silver Medal, in this school year, students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted have won 5 medals including 2 Gold Medals in Chemistry and Physics and 3 Silver Medals in Russian and Physics.
This summer, students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted continue to participate in the International Mathematics Olympiad and the International Physics Olympiad./.
