At the meeting, members of the Provincial Election Committee, sub-committees and working groups assisting the Provincial Election Committee mentioned a number of difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process; especially emphasizing the need to pay attention to resolving problems at the grassroots level. Some concerns were raised about the ratio of women and children in some localities not reaching the target. Some districts identified that the structure did not ensure the right direction....

In his concluding remarks at the meeting, comrade Tran Hong Chau emphasized: In order for the election of deputies to the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels to take place democratically and in accordance with the law, election organizations must continue to grasp the provisions of the law to implement the contents and next steps; strengthen inspection, urging, guiding and training for grassroots organizations to promptly carry out election work.
