Victim shot dead in Angola has been flown home
(Baonghean.vn) - On June 24, Mr. Nguyen Van Trong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Thai commune, Dien Chau district (Nghe An) said that the body of Mr. Pham Van Tuan, residing in hamlet 2, had been brought back to his hometown for burial.
As reported, at around 7:30 a.m. on June 8, Mr. Pham Van Tuan (born 1982), residing in Hamlet 1, Dien Thai Commune, Dien Chau District (Nghe An), was in a car from his residence to a construction site when he was shot by a group of armed robbers, causing his death.

After more than half a month of his death, thanks to the help of the Vietnamese community in Angola and the Vietnamese Embassy there, Tuan's body was brought back to his homeland.
According to Mr. Trong, at about 5:00 a.m. on June 23, Mr. Tuan's body was brought back to the locality. The commune government and people visited and encouraged the family to overcome the pain soon.
By the afternoon of the same day (June 23), the family and commune authorities held a burial ceremony according to local customs.
