Talking with the delegation of Vietnamese Embassy officials, Thai doctors confirmed that Mr. Truong's health has stabilized.

After more than 2 weeks of treatment, the hematoma in the victim's eye and the wound on his left heel due to a crushed bone have completely healed and he can be discharged from the hospital.

On behalf of the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, Mr. Tran Manh Hung visited, encouraged, and actively supported the necessary procedures for Mr. Truong to be discharged from the hospital and return home on flight TG564.

Currently, the Embassy is urgently coordinating with Thai authorities to complete procedures to assist victims in receiving compensation for the explosion.

On the evening of August 17, Mr. Mai Van Truong, born in 1990, from Thanh Hoa, was walking near the Erawan Shrine when the bomb explosion threw him about 3 meters away. The victim was taken to Klang Hospital, Bangkok for treatment immediately afterwards.

During the treatment period, the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand regularly sent delegations of officials to visit, encourage and carry out citizen protection work for the victims./.
