Improve the quality of delivery and use of Party newspapers in disadvantaged areas

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 25, Nghe An Newspaper had a working session with the Provincial Post Office on the results of the inspection of the distribution and use of Nghe An Newspaper in 2016.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Lam Van Doan, Tran Van Hung - Deputy Editor-in-Chief and representatives of the Ethnic Minority Committee. On behalf of the Provincial Post Office, there were comrade Le Dinh Chien - Deputy Director and representatives of relevant departments and offices.

Overview of the working session

Previously, the working delegation including representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Nghe An Newspaper and the Provincial Ethnic Committee inspected the purchase, delivery and use of party newspapers and magazines according to Directive 11 of the Politburo and Decision 633 of the Prime Minister at a number of party cells and villages in the four districts of Anh Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong and Ky Son.

Mr. Bach Dinh Dung - a prestigious person and Head of Veu 3 village, Phuc Son commune (Anh Son) reported not receiving Nhan Dan and Nghe An newspapers.

At the working session, representatives of Nghe An Newspaper and the working group summarized the inspection results at 4 units so that Nghe An Post Office could clearly understand the current status of newspaper and magazine delivery quality in the province.

The working group inspected the use of Party newspapers at the Ke Sung village Party cell, Mau Duc commune (Con Cuong).

Accordingly, in the 4 districts, the basic party cells, focal points, and affiliated party committees have complied relatively well with the use of Nghe An newspaper. In Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, and Ky Son, 100% of school party cells have fully purchased newspapers. Of which, Tuong Duong is the only unit that has achieved 100% of the number of grassroots party organizations publishing and using Nghe An newspaper.

Mr. Luong Thanh Chuong, Party cell secretary of Quang Thinh village, Tam Dinh commune (Tuong Duong), has to go to the postman's house every week to get the newspaper.

The work of delivering newspapers to the subjects has achieved good results. The district post offices have arranged the mail routes quite reasonably, in the town and some communes along route 7, the newspapers have arrived during the day. The storage and use of newspapers and magazines are quite good.

However, there are still some problems that need to be promptly resolved: such as slow newspaper delivery,lack of detectors,cEvil subjects do not know the number of newspapers distributed.....

On behalf of the leaders of the Postal sector, comrade Le Dinh Chien - Deputy Director received the delegation's opinions to strengthen inspection and direction work and will continue to work and handle existing problems at the working points mentioned by the delegation.
