Improve the quality of information and propaganda on administrative reform

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of December 18, the Department of Home Affairs - Department of Information and Communications - Nghe An Newspaper - Radio and Television Station held a conference to summarize the implementation of the regulations on coordination of information and propaganda for administrative reform in 2013. Attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

In 2013, the information and propaganda work on administrative reform was carried out by agencies and units quite closely, promptly and responsibly. The forms of information and propaganda were rich and diverse, including television, radio, written and electronic newspapers. The quality of news, articles and reports was significantly improved, contributing to promoting the administrative reform work of the province. The effectiveness of information and propaganda was that the awareness of administrative reform work of agencies, units, cadres, civil servants, public employees and people was raised; advanced models, new models, good practices were introduced and set as examples; the responsibility, initiative and creativity in performing public duties of cadres, civil servants and public employees were encouraged; aroused; harassment, negativity and stagnation in some agencies and units were improved...

At the conference, the units exchanged, discussed and contributed ideas to overcome shortcomings and limitations in coordination work such as: the introduction and dissemination of typical individuals and groups that have done well and places that have not done well in administrative reform work are still limited; negative phenomena and harassment by a number of cadres, civil servants and public employees have been complained about by many people but have not been fully and promptly reported. In some sensitive areas such as land, investment, mining licensing, construction, etc., accessing subjects and matters is still difficult.

To improve the effectiveness and quality of information and propaganda work on administrative reform in the coming time, the relevant parties agreed to: continue to maintain the current forms of information and propaganda, and at the same time supplement the form and information through press conferences organized by the Department of Information and Communications in coordination with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.
