The annual inspection work of the Provincial Inspectorate is carried out according to the plan approved by the Provincial People's Committee, in addition to thematic inspections and surprise inspections, with an average of 15-17 inspections per year. The inspection activities of departments, branches and district-level inspections are oriented by the Provincial Inspectorate to focus on areas of public concern such as land management, finance, budget, basic construction investment, compliance with tax laws; inspection of projects and programs funded by the State budget; inspection of the responsibilities of heads at all levels and branches in compliance with the laws on inspection, complaints, denunciations and anti-corruption.
The results of post-inspection handling are quite positive, achieving a recovery rate of over 70% for cases led by the Provincial Inspectorate. However, there are still some cases where post-inspection handling has not been carried out; the amount of money recovered after inspection handling is still large; some units deliberately delay in implementing or do not fully implement the amount of violations that have been decided to be handled.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Huu Lam acknowledged the efforts of the Provincial Inspectorate in the past time; at the same time, he noted that the Provincial Inspectorate, in addition to paying attention to inspection work with focus and key points, avoiding overlap, needs to pay attention to the quality of inspection conclusions, handling decisions and post-inspection supervision, ensuring the strictness of the law. Strengthen inspection of responsibility and public ethics of officials and civil servants in performing inspection work. Research to publicize some inspection conclusions that have a wide-ranging impact, with the effect of providing information for localities and units to learn from experience.
