The rate of handling complaints and denunciations from citizens at all levels and sectors reached 97.2%, of which the provincial level reached 95.7%; departments and sectors resolved 100%; district and commune levels reached 96.9%.
Through the settlement of complaints and denunciations, violations were discovered and recommendations were made to recover assets and land for the state with 2.28 billion VND, 3,650 m2 of land; return 387 million VND and 866 m2 of land to citizens. Delegates also requested the Provincial Inspectorate to clarify a number of complaints and denunciations; find out why some projects were not included in the report; there were a number of cases that were overdue for a long time, besides objective reasons, on the subjective side, there were still cadres and civil servants who were slow in their work, and had a low sense of responsibility in handling complaints and denunciations from citizens. At the same time, attention was paid to solutions in 2014, including further strengthening the propaganda and dissemination of laws so that people could understand correctly and make correct complaints. Attention was paid to further improving the professional skills and public ethics of cadres and civil servants who work in receiving people and handling complaints and denunciations from citizens; promptly resolve long-standing cases and emerging issues.
