In the period of 2017-2020, the program of coordination between the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of the province, the provincial Social Insurance andProvincial Federation of Laborachieved many positive results, contributing to the completion of the political tasks of the sectors and stabilizing social security, promoting the socio-economic development of the province. The three units have advised the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee to issue many directive documents to strengthen State management in the fields of labor, employment, vocational training, implementation of salary policies, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance for workers in the province; Deploying activities to propagate social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance policies to the masses; Inspecting and supervising the implementation of the Labor Law, the Social Insurance Law and resolving complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections of citizens; Developing subjects participating in social insurance, health insurance, reducing outstanding social insurance, health insurance debts; Paying unemployment benefits and other regimes forworker; Coordinate in strike resolution work.

In addition to the achieved results, the coordination between the three units still has some limitations due to the low awareness of compliance with the Social Insurance Law of some enterprises; the epidemic and natural disasters affect production and business, and sometimes the sectors are not proactive in proposing coordination content.

Based on the functions and tasks of each unit as well as the results of the implementation of the coordination program in the past time and the requirements of the tasks for the period 2021-2025, the 3 units have jointly developed a program of coordination of activities for the period 2021-2025. Accordingly, the program will focus on 9 specific contents: Advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to strengthen leadership and direction in the fields of labor, employment, policies and regimes for workers; Propaganda work; Inspecting and examining the implementation of the Labor Code, Trade Union Law, Social Insurance Law, Health Insurance Law, Employment Law, Labor Safety and Hygiene Law and handling complaints and petitions; Coordinating to expand and develop participants, reduce outstanding debts of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance; Reviewing and managing beneficiaries of unemployment benefits and resolving problems related to the regime for workers; Developing, registering labor regulations and signing collective labor agreements; Supervise occupational safety and hygiene at the enterprise; Prevent and resolve strikes, implement dialogue regulations at the enterprise; Coordinate information reporting.
