The campaign "Management, exploitation of weapons, technical equipment well, durable, economical and traffic safety" (also known as Campaign 50) has 4 goals including good management of weapons and technical equipment; exploitation of weapons and technical equipment well, durable; ensuring safety and practicing economy. After 5 years of implementation, the campaign has received the attention of the Military Region commander and commanders of military units, creating a great spread throughout the army. Currently, the Provincial Military Command has built a complete system of books to register and manage weapons and technical equipment in accordance with the regulations of the specialized sectors, implementing the inspection and inventory regime according to regulations. All guns and artillery are registered with serial numbers, ammunition is tested for explosion rate, and is sorted and arranged in batches. The system of stations and equipment workshops is regularly invested and strengthened with a total amount of up to billions of VND. The repair team regularly studies, improves their skills and practices.

The management and use of absolutely safe weapons and technical equipment in an absolutely safe and economical manner is considered one of the top priorities. In the past 5 years, with the attention of the military region and the province, the technical sector has invested billions of VND to build, consolidate and upgrade fire-fighting water systems, anti-overturning mounds, and lightning protection systems for warehouses. The security of the communication system has been enhanced. In particular, units in the province have had many practical initiatives and experiences, such as replacing diesel engines for some motorbikes to save 2/3 of fuel. Units have also mobilized thousands of working days to repair warehouses, build anti-overturning mounds, and repair lightning protection columns, helping to save hundreds of millions of VND and thousands of liters of gasoline, etc.

At the 5-year summary ceremony of the campaign, Military Region 4 and the Provincial Military Command awarded 15 collectives and 41 individuals with outstanding achievements. The subordinate units also signed an emulation agreement to implement the campaign in the new period.
