Officers of Border Guard Station 152 propagate the Law of the Sea of Vietnam to 9th grade students of Dien Trung Secondary School.

During the 3 days, the students were educated on basic knowledge about the territory, national borders, the Law of the Sea of Vietnam and Decree 161/2003/ND-CP dated December 18, 2003 of the Government on the Regulations on maritime border areas. This activity is part of the coordination plan between the Provincial Border Guard and the Provincial Department of Education and Training in general, between Border Guard Station 152 and the Dien Chau District Education Department in particular on the dissemination of legal education to 9th grade students in coastal communes and wards.

In addition to equipping students with knowledge in the program, teachers also propagate the Law of the Sea, integrate and provide current information on the situation of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, as well as the struggle to protect our sea and island sovereignty, especially around the event of China illegally placing an exploration rig in Vietnam's exclusive economic zone and using force to threaten Vietnamese law enforcement vessels and fishing boats, seriously violating Vietnam's sovereignty, sovereign rights, and jurisdiction; and our viewpoints and methods of struggle. Thereby, education arouses students' awareness of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

According to the coordination plan between Border Guard Station 152 and the Education Department of Dien Chau district, in the coming time, Border Guard Station 152 will continue to disseminate legal education to 9th grade students in coastal communes: Dien Hung, Dien Hai and Dien Kim.
