Strengthening resistance to websites that sabotage our Party and State

Such information is more or less available online, because of the open nature of the Internet, anyone can post any information online from anywhere in the world. In recent times, many countries, not just Vietnam, haveMalealso want to prevent false information, contrary to good customs by technical measures.

This is a challenge for all countries, requiring the cooperation of communities and countries around the world to be able to prevent it. However, many times it is impossible because the legal environments of each country are different.

In fact, hostile forces and opportunistic, degenerate and corrupt elements in the country are seeking every means to prevent and sabotage the construction and development of our country. They have taken full advantage of the open environment of the Internet to disseminate information and propaganda on many fronts and fields, including politics, economics and ideology.

They will not hesitate to use any means, including mixing black and white, right and wrong, with the aim of smearing, speculating, intending to slander, fabricate information, cause internal division, incite, and attack the role of Party and State leaders, distort the history and culture of the nation, and distort the guidelines, policies, and strategies of our Party and State.

Recently, information like the question has appeared with higher frequency, more maliciously and dangerously. It can be said that this is a plot to take advantage of our current Party building and rectification work to cause internal conflicts within the Party, to incite propaganda to harm our people's trust in the Party, to affect and hinder our good purpose in implementing the Central Resolution IV on Party building and rectification.

Therefore, with the false and mixed information on the Internet that hostile forces have spread, more than ever, the entire Party and people, especially with the exemplary role of Party members and cadres, must build absolute trust in the Party's leadership, be determined to overcome all difficulties, and demonstrate the mettle of Vietnam that has shone in the struggle for national independence, and now continues to shine in the cause of building and defending the Socialist Fatherland.

- This toxic and reactionary information in recent days has somewhat affected people's psychology. What specific actions should the Ministry of Information and Communications take?

There must be many synchronous solutions. First of all, the effective and fundamental long-term solution is to do a good job of propaganda and education to improve the knowledge of the entire population, raise awareness of right and wrong in the face of information in society as well as on the Internet based on the interests of the country, the people and society. That is also an opportunity and condition to improve resistance for everyone when encountering false information in real society as well as virtual society.

Second, it is necessary to enhance the management responsibility of state agencies at all levels, promptly handle information violations, and at the same time promote the provision of technical equipment to agencies and organizations to have conditions to promptly detect and effectively handle false information on the Internet.

Third, it is to mobilize all mass media to promote their roles and responsibilities to fulfill their propaganda tasks well, with diverse, rich and effective information and communication content, to propagate the fastest, most accurate and timely information on all aspects of social life and all activities of the Party and the State. In particular, the mass media proactively provide information that people need in today's society, thereby raising people's awareness, raising people's requirements for providing domestic and international information, creating people's consensus on the Party and State's guidelines, policies and strategies, and promptly fighting against the wrong ideas and arguments of hostile forces.

Another solution is to encourage and create conditions for organizations and individuals to contribute to providing positive information that is consistent with Vietnamese customs, ethics and laws, meeting the increasingly high cultural and spiritual needs of people in society.
