On the afternoon of May 5, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications and the Provincial Journalists Association to organize a press conference for May 2022.
The conference took time to review activities.pressin the province in April 2022; emphasizing the propaganda work of press agencies on outstanding events and activities of the province. Especially the propaganda to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2022); the scientific seminar "Comrade Phan Dang Luu with the Vietnamese Revolution and Nghe An homeland"; Propaganda for the ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking the National Special Historical Relic of Nguyen Xi Temple and Tomb; the National Historical Relic of Cau Cam and the announcement of Nghi Loc district meeting the new rural standards...

The press agencies also spent adequate time promoting solutions to restore the province's socio-economic development; promoting site clearance work and accelerating the construction of key projects, including the road.North-South Expressway; propaganda, promotion of destinations, promotion of tourism development in the province; work to ensure social order and safety...
Besides, many problems, difficulties, inadequacies and shortcomings exist in investment in works and projects; in land management and use; forest management and protection; environmental protection; management of means of transport, especiallyoversized, overloaded vehicles… also received attention from journalists.

In April 2022, basically, press agencies strictly followed the propaganda direction of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and state management of the Department of Information and Communications.
Some agencies actively provide information and feedback, such as Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television Station, Traffic Newspaper, Natural Resources and Environment Newspaper, People's Police Newspaper, Industry and Trade Newspaper, Education Newspaper and Times Newspaper.

The handling of press issues has been of concern to all levels and sectors. In April, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department received 4 documents reporting the handling results.Issues raised by the press in March 2022 by units and localities. Accordingly, 1 issue was raised correctly by the press; 3 issues are being directed and 2 issues are past the response deadline.
Focus on propagating the determination in leadership and management at all levels.
At the end of the meeting, comrade Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department discussed and noted a number of issues in propaganda and information work in the press as well as the responsibilities of journalists when participating in social networks; at the same time, emphasized 9 key content groups that need to be focused on propaganda in May 2022.

Including the 2022 Lotus Village Festival to celebrate the 132nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2022); major programs and tasks of the province are being implemented, especially investment attraction, implementation of key projects and works; site clearance; promotion and introduction of Nghe An tourism potential with typical and attractive destinations, promoting tourism development of the province.
The Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department also hopes that journalists and press agencies will accompany the province for the common development; pay attention to propagating the leadership, direction and drastic management of Party committees, authorities and the political system from the province to the grassroots; commend good models and good factors to encourage, spread, and contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of Nghe An.
