(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 5, in Quang Ngai city, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, the Provincial People's Committee and the Quang Ngai Literature and Arts Association held the opening ceremony of the Training Camp on art photography appraisal and photo composition on the theme of the homeland's sea and islands.

Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Quang Ngai Provincial Literature and Arts Association and 35 outstanding photographers selected from nearly 1,000 photographers nationwide.

At the opening ceremony, Photographer Vu Quoc Khanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, clearly stated the purpose and content of this training camp: training in photo appraisal for talented and titled photographers to supplement and replace the aging jury; orienting photographic composition in the period of integration and development of Vietnamese photography; and organizing for photographers to go on field trips to compose on the theme of the homeland's sea and islands at Ly Son Island and some other locations in Quang Ngai province.

After the opening ceremony, Photographer Le Hong Linh - Title EVAP/G - EFIAP/G, former Chairman of the Art Council of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, discussed the work of judging and evaluating photos, analyzed some typical works of art photography, and directed future creations.

The artists invited to participate in this photo evaluation were carefully selected by the organizing committee from more than 1,000 artists with high achievements in composition and good development potential to create a source for the next generation of judges.
The training camp will take place over 8 days and will close on the afternoon of May 12./.
